250 wooden coffins found

Along with this, the Archaeological Department has found 250 wooden coffins. There is a picture on these coffins. There are mummies inside them. These coffins date from between 747 BC to 332 BC.

More than 150 bronze sculptures of Egyptian deities Bastet, Anubis, Osiris, Amunmin, Isis and Hathor have been found. Apart from this, bracelets, necklaces and ear rings have also been found. Archaeologists have found a funeral temple of Egyptian Queen Nearit during excavations. Queen Nearit was the wife of King Teti. King Teti was the first pharaoh of the Sixth Dynasty of Egypt.

Statue of Imhotep also found

During the excavation, archaeologists have found a statue of Imhotep. It is believed that Imhotep was a well-known architect and he designed the pyramids which are 4700 years old. A unique thing with this discovery is that for the first time in the last 100 years, a Bhojpatra has been found completely safe.
