New Delhi: There was a time, when T20 cricket was called only a game of youth, but now the times have changed. At present, players of all ages are making a splash in cricket. The most recent example of this was presented by Hungarian opener Zeeshan Kukikhel. Against Austria, 36-year-old Zeeshan scored 137 runs off just 49 balls.

Zeeshan Kukikhel played this memorable innings while chasing the target. Actually, Hungary had a target of 197 runs, which the team achieved by losing 6 wickets in the last ball of the 19th over. Zeeshan looked aggressive from the start and wreaked havoc on the Austrian bowlers. He scored 137 runs in 49 balls at a staggering strike rate of 279.59. In this century innings, 7 fours and 15 long sixes were seen with his bat. This was the first century of the cookie game in International T20 cricket. Austria had made a big score

Apart from him, wicketkeeper Mehr Cheema contributed 33 runs in 28 balls. Opener Iqbal Hussain also scored 24 runs. Sandeep Mohandas took 3 for Hungary, while Ali Yalmaz got 2 wickets in his account. Zeeshan also took 1 wicket for 23 runs.

3 match T20 series drawn

The 3-match T20I series played between Hungary and Austria ended in a 1-1 draw. Host Austria won the first match of the series by a huge margin of 105 runs. Austria had scored 201/5 in the match, in response to which Hungary were all-out for only 96. The second match was not played due to rain and Hungary won the third.
