Delhi News:
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLAs along with a large number of people protested outside the house of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Ramesh Bidhuri on Saturday over eviction notices to slum dwellers in an area of Tughlakabad.
Party leaders, including Aam Aadmi Party MLAs Atishi and Madan Lal, carried placards that read, “Shame on the BJP, stop demolishing slums.” The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) had on January 11 issued an eviction notice to the people living inside the Tughlaqabad Fort by January 26.
Former Finance Minister of Bengal Amit Mitra said – GST fraud of 1.25 lakh crores, made a big allegation on the Center
On the other hand, MLA Atishi had alleged on Friday that the BJP has lied to the people that it will get them houses. He said, “The BJP made a false promise to the people of Delhi when it said ‘Jahan Jhuggi Wahan Makaan’. Now people are getting demolition notices for their houses. We stand with the people of Delhi and will not allow anyone to be evicted from their homes.”
