Hong Kong, 24 September: Hong Kong announced on Friday that it was easing some of the toughest travel restrictions. This will bring relief to residents and businesses. Hong Kong has abolished the rule of mandatory hotel quarantine for travelers coming from abroad. After which the passengers will no longer have to stay in quarantine. Hong Kong has ended this ban after 2.5 years.

The city’s chief executive John Lee said all passengers arriving here do not need to have a negative PCR test report 48 hours before boarding the plane, but now they need to have a negative antigen test 24 hours before boarding. The inquiry report has to be submitted. “We need to allow the maximum number of ways to connect with the world so that we can accelerate our economy and reduce inconvenience to oncoming passengers,” Lee said.
