Vijay Giri started a new initiative
After the successful cultivation of apples and strawberries in Bihar, now the farmer of Bagaha, Vijay Giri, is making headlines by cultivating magic paddy. Vijay Giri has started a new initiative by cultivating magic paddy. It is worth noting that magic paddy is cultivated in Majula island on the banks of Brahmaputra river in Assam, but now farmer Vijay Giri of Bihar is cultivating it successfully in his village Harpur Sohsa. Magic rice has more carbohydrates and protein than other rice. Vijay Giri explains that despite having carbohydrates and proteins, magic rice is sugar free and sugar patients can also use this rice.

Magic paddy cultivation information received from Krishi Mela
Farmer Vijay Giri is now also promoting magic rice so that farmers understand the importance of this rice and cultivate it because the more the production of paddy increases, the more profit will be given to the farmers. When Vijay Giri was asked how did the idea of magic rice cultivation come about? So he told that he had gone to the Krishi Mela in West Bengal last year. From there got information about the cultivation of this rice. After returning from Krishi Mela, he cultivated it on one acre of land as a trial. After cultivating one acre of land, there was a good yield of magic paddy. During the cultivation of magic paddy, there was no need of chemical fertilizers.

Rice is prepared even in normal water
Another specialty of magic rice is that it does not require cooking gas or stove. By keeping this rice in normal water for about 50 to 60 minutes, the rice gets cooked and ready. In a word, this rice does not require high temperature to cook. According to the information received, the cost of cultivation of magic paddy is very less. Its most important reason is that its cultivation does not require the use of chemical fertilizers. It takes about 5 months for the magic paddy to be fully prepared. Along with this, its price is also good in the market. A kilo of maujik rice is sold for around Rs.60.
