The Lucknow bench of Allahabad High Court had directed the government to take the increasing cases of dengue in Lucknow seriously. He has issued strict guidelines regarding the spread of dengue in the state by holding a meeting with the Health Department officials at his residence. He has issued instructions to the nodal officers to visit the area to ensure the implementation of dengue prevention measures. He said that all the municipal corporations and local bodies of the state should conduct special cleaning, fogging and larva spray campaigns. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also asked officials to ensure the availability of doctors and medicines at health facilities. He said that the patients coming to the hospitals should get the necessary health care at all cost. In fact, the court directed the Health Department, Lucknow Municipal Corporation, Additional Chief Secretary (Health) and Chief Medical Officer to apprise them about the steps taken by them for prevention of vector-borne diseases like dengue, chikungunya and viral fever. did.

A division bench of Justices Devendra Kumar Upadhyay and Saurabh Srivastava was hearing a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed by Ashish Kumar Mishra. The court had said, “The learned counsel representing these parties shall be suitably informed as to what is to be done by the State authorities and municipal authorities not only for prevention of spread of such vector borne diseases but also for providing adequate medical facilities.” Effective steps are being taken or have been taken.

7,134 cases of dengue registered so far in UP

Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak said that 7,134 cases of dengue have been registered in the state. He claimed that this year’s figure is less than the figures reported last year. Pathak said that people should not panic or panic as hospitals are well equipped to provide treatment and diagnosis. “We have reserved beds for dengue patients,” he said in a statement issued here recently.
