Gorakhpur News:
Even after starting Gorakhpur AIIMS, today there are no doctors in many departments. For this reason the patients here are being referred to AIIMS. Due to non-availability of Heart, Neuro, Euro and Nephro doctors in AIIMS, serious patients are being referred to BRD Medical College. On Monday, more than 16 neuro and kidney patient forms were returned from the counter itself. Those who somehow reached the doctor, were referred to the medical college.

Serious patients are not getting relief in AIIMS. Right now only normal patients are being seen and admitted. Even among normal patients, if a doctor from one department asks a patient to be seen in another department, then he will not be seen on that day. Media in-charge Pankaj Srivastava told that an arrangement has been made to see the patients. The daily number of online and offline patients has been fixed. If more patients come than that, they have to be sent back. There is no doctor for Neuro, Nephro, Heart etc diseases, so such patients are referred.

Appointment has to be taken even to show the report in AIIMS. The patient first shows the doctor. He writes to investigate. Correct medicine cannot be started without investigation. After two days, when they reach with the report to see the doctor, they are returned.

Two arrangements have been made for patients in AIIMS – online and offline. Online appointment can be taken from AIIMS’s Aarogya Setu app. According to one doctor, 105 patients can take appointment in a day. Apart from this, offline registration of 45 patients is done daily on one doctor. That means one doctor sees 150 patients in a day.
