New Delhi, 3 June. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday ahead of the presidential and vice-presidential elections due in July. Reddy’s meeting with the Prime Minister of Andhra Pradesh’s ruling YSR Congress Party assumes significance as the Bharatiya Janata Party intensified its preparations for the presidential election and called on allies in the event of a joint candidate being fielded by the opposition.
