Amaravati, November 7 – Elaborate arrangements are being made to welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Vizag on November 11. Speaking at a review meeting with officials here on Sunday, IT and Industries Minister Gudivada Amarnath said Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy would first address the public meeting and later address the Prime Minister. He appealed to the people not to treat the meeting as a political meeting and it is a meeting to honor the Prime Minister. Therefore, people should ensure the PM’s public meeting a great success by participating in large numbers, he said.
YSRC MP V Vijayasai Reddy said that the Prime Minister will reach Vizag on November 11 at 7 pm. He will lay the foundation stone and inaugurate about seven projects at the public meeting place. He said the meeting would start at 11 am and people would reach the venue at 10 am. Collector A Mallikarjuna said a command control room with 25 staff had been set up in the collectorate to monitor the movement of people at the PM’s meeting place. Police Commissioner C Srikanth said that parking spaces would be provided for vehicles bringing people to the venue.
He said that he prepared an action plan to ensure smooth flow of traffic in the city that day. Officials from various departments attended the meeting. BJP will welcome PM BJP state president Somu Veerraju held a review meeting with party leaders on the arrangements for the reception of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his arrival on November 11.
