TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh said the results of the MLC elections for graduate constituencies clearly indicate that the downfall of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has begun. On the occasion of the conclusion of his Yuva Galam Padayatra in the then Chittor district, Lokesh addressed a huge public meeting at Molakalacheruvu village in Tambalpalle mandal on Friday.
Nara Lokesh said that the MLC election results show that the youth and all sections are revolting against the YSRCP rule as they are ready to oust Jagan Mohan Reddy from the CM’s chair. He said that he had undertaken a padyatra of 45 days covering 14 constituencies and a distance of 577 kilometers in the then Chittoor district. Lokesh observes that he feels fortunate to end his journey at the historical place Tamballapalli.
Nara Lokesh thanked the people of Andhra Pradesh for their support and affection towards him. Nara Lokesh said, ‘I appeal with folded hands to those who helped Yuva Galam to complete successfully, to continue it for TDP’s return to power in 2024 elections.’
Also TDP leader Nara Lokesh alleged that Tambalpalle MLA Peddireddy Dwarkanath Reddy was responsible for intentionally preventing Madanapalle from becoming a district only to maintain his supremacy. Nara Lokesh promised that Madanapalle would be upgraded to a district soon after his party came to power.
