Vijayawada, June 18:
Andhra Pradesh government is going to fill 8,928 vacant posts in different departments by March next year. For this, Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy has given instructions to the officials. In this, recruitment is also to be made on the vacant posts of Health and Higher Education Department. On behalf of the CM, the officers have been asked to settle this work by March next year while doing this work on a war footing.
The CM has asked to complete the selection of the first batch by September this year and the selection of the second batch by March of next year. Jagan Reddy also reviewed the progress of the work calendar at his camp office at Tadepalli on Friday. After which he directed the officers to complete the process of filling 6500 posts in the police department at the earliest.
Officers gave information to CM
During this, senior officers of different departments also informed CM Jagan Mohan Reddy about the recruitment process. Officials told Chief Minister Jagan Reddy that out of the mandatory 47,465 posts in various departments, 39,654 have already been filled. At the same time, work is also going on to fill the remaining posts and they will be filled soon.
