Bulldozer went overnight at Rishikesh resort of accused Pulkit
Taking major action in this matter, Abhinav Kumar, Special Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the demolition of Vantara Resort in Rishikesh is going on. Which is owned by Pulkit Arya, who allegedly killed Ankita Bhandari. Pulkit Arya is the son of former Uttarakhand minister and BJP leader Vinod Arya. Dhami’s Special Principal Secretary Abhinav Kumar said that the resort is being demolished on the orders of Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. After the alleged murder of Ankita Bhandari, the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand has also directed the District Magistrates to investigate all the resorts in the state. Along with this, the Chief Minister has also ordered to ensure that necessary action is taken against the resorts operating illegally.
Ankita Bhandari went missing from Vantara Resort in Rishikesh
Let us inform that Ankita Bhandari had gone missing from this resort four days ago. This resort is in the Ganga Bhogpur area on the Rishikesh-Chilla motor road. Ankita Bhandari used to work as a receptionist at Vantara Resort in Rishikesh. Ankita’s body was recovered on 23 September. It is being told that the accused had allegedly murdered Ankita and threw her body in the Chila canal. The incident has created huge outrage in the area and many on social media have demanded justice for Ankita.
Police said- the accused told how Ankita Bhandari was murdered
19-year-old receptionist Ankita Bhandari had gone missing a few days back and her body was found on Friday. Police said that the accused confessed to pushing Ankita into the canal after the altercation and said that she drowned there. Uttarakhand Director General of Police (DGP) Ashok Kumar told ANI that the owner of the resort Pulkit Arya has been arrested along with two more accused in the case. He said, “The girl (Ankita) went missing five-six days ago. The area of the resort did not come under the regular police station area. There is a Patwari police system and under this an FIR was registered by the resort owner. The DM handed over the matter to Laxman Jhula police, who solved the matter within 24 hours. The resort owner turned out to be the accused. Three accused including the resort owner Pulkit have been arrested.”
