The dates of Gujarat Legislative Assembly Elections 2022 are now very close. The Congress party does not want to miss a single opportunity to encircle the BJP, which has been in power in Gujarat for the last 27 years. Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has taken a jibe at PM Modi and the Bharatiya Janata Party over the suspension of seven BJP leaders in Gujarat and the rebellion of BJP leaders in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh.

The party has changed, people have started speaking

Amid reports of rebellion in BJP’s Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh units, Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot took a dig at PM Modi, saying the party is not what it used to be. Gehlot said that amid reports of suspension of several MLAs in the two poll-bound states, people have started speaking into the saffron party. At least 33 MLAs in Gujarat and 21 in Himachal have rebelled. PM Modi’s party is not the same as it was, it has also changed, people have started speaking.”

Seven party leaders were suspended by the BJP
Senior Congress leader and CM Gehlot said this after BJP took disciplinary action and suspended seven party leaders. These were the leaders who filed nominations as independent candidates after being denied tickets by the saffron party. All these seven candidates were seeking tickets in the first phase of the Gujarat Assembly elections, which will be held on December 1. The second phase will be held on December 5 and the results will be declared on December 8.

BJP had expelled six rebels in Himachal too
In the same November, the BJP had expelled six rebels from the party in Himachal Pradesh. Voting was held in Himacham on November 12. All of them were expelled from the primary membership of the party for six years because they contested assembly elections against the official candidates of the party.
