A 22-year-old Bangladeshi girl has swam across the border to marry her boyfriend from India. She crossed the wild forests of the Sundarbans, swam continuously for an hour and entered the country of India hoping to marry her lover.

The name of this girl is Krishna Mandal. This Bangladeshi girl started a conversation with Abhik Mandal, who lives in India, on Facebook and fell in love with him within a few days. Krishna did not have a passport, so he chose to cross the border from Bangladesh illegally.

According to police sources, Krishna first entered the Sundarbans, which is known for its Royal Bengal Tigers. Then she swam in the river for about an hour to reach her lover’s place.
After marriage, the girl was arrested by the police
Krishna married Abhik three days ago at the Kalighat temple in Kolkata. However, he was arrested on Monday for illegally entering the country. Sources said that Krishna could be handed over to the Bangladesh High Commission.
