BBC Documentary: The Government of India has taken a big step on the BBC documentary made on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The government has blocked this documentary on Twitter and YouTube link video. These videos and links are being removed from Twitter and YouTube. Despite this, the documentary was shown to the students of Hyderabad University. The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) has complained to the authorities about the documentary being shown to university students. After receiving the complaint, the officials have started the investigation.

In fact, BBC’s ‘India: The Modi Question’ Made a documentary series in two parts titled. This series is based on the 2002 riots in Gujarat. On Saturday, January 21, the Government of India blocked the tweet and YouTube link video of this documentary series. So there, this documentary series was organized at Hyderabad University on 23rd January. Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), the student wing of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, complained about this to the authorities.

ABVP activists told the officials that the students in the university campus watched the BBC documentary. Taking cognizance of the written complaint, the police have started investigation. So there, in this regard, the university administration while talking to the media said that they are waiting for a report on the basis of the complaint received. The report of the security department is awaited and further action will be taken accordingly. On the other hand, the students union has denied doing anything ‘illegal or wrong’. At the same time, according to the Gachibowli police, no complaint has been received regarding the screening so far.

Actually, BBC’s ‘India: The Modi Question’ documentary is based on the 2002 riots inside Gujarat. The documentary sparked controversy in India and was blocked on YouTube and Twitter following complaints from the Centre. So on the other hand, this documentary was told by the spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs, Arindam Bagchi, as a part of false narrative and propaganda.
