This was just one example of his experimental work. Today it has become a big chain of schools. For this, a monthly rent of five rupees was given. Earlier in 1946 Geeta Vidyalaya was established in Kurukshetra, Haryana. Which was founded by union chief M.S. Golwalkar did.
After that, slowly more schools opened in UP as well. Shishu Shiksha Prabandhan Samiti was formed in 1958 to run these schools. When such schools were opened in other states also, committees were formed in them. Sarvhitkari Shiksha Samiti was formed in Punjab and Chandigarh and Hindu Shiksha Samiti was formed in Haryana. Then in 1977 Vidya Bharti Sanstha was formed, giving it a national form.
