Bharat Jodo Yatra: For the last few days, Rahul Gandhi has been continuously attacking the BJP over PM Modi’s program ‘Mann Ki Baat’. Addressing a public meeting during the Congress’ Bharat Jodo Yatra, he compared his party’s campaign to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat programme. In which the PM connects with the public regarding the problems of the people of different regions across the country and the efforts of the Central Government to overcome them. Rahul Gandhi has said in his address that he has to listen to people’s mind for 8 hours to speak for just 15 minutes.
During Bharat Jodo Yatra, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi said that he walks for about eight hours. For this, an average distance of 25 km has to be covered daily. During the journey, he connects with people through conversation and listens to their thoughts.
Addressing a public meeting in Burhanpur, Madhya Pradesh during the Congress’s Bharat Jodo Yatra on Wednesday, Rahul Gandhi said, “We interact with people in between the yatra. We do ‘Mann Ki Baat’ for about eight hours. Let’s listen. Then speak for about 15 minutes”. Rahul Gandhi further said that PM Modi does not do this. Whereas during the Congress Jodo Yatra we hear that the farmers, youth, women, laborers and small scale businessmen do the work of listening.
