Big step of Punjab government, extended period for farmers to buy machines on subsidy



Chandigarh: Many big decisions are being taken by the Punjab government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to help the farmers for the maintenance of stubble in the state. Under this link, the Punjab government has decided to extend the period of approval issued to farmers to purchase machines on subsidy for stubble handling and direct sowing of wheat till November 20.

Giving information, Agriculture Farmers Welfare Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal said that the machines whose approval period is expiring on November 7, 2022. His term has been extended till November 20, 2022. Along with this, the Agriculture Minister said that from now onwards, the approval period for issuing baler rakes will be of 21 days.

Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal said that the government has taken this decision with the aim of providing maximum help to the farmers for the maintenance of stubble and direct sowing of wheat. At the same time, he has appealed to the farmers to save the environment from pollution by taking maximum advantage of these schemes of the government.
