Family does not have money for better treatment
While Sunita’s condition remains critical, Dr UC Sharma (Civil Surgeon) said that this is a very sad and serious matter. Taking cognizance of the matter, a factual report has been summoned from the PHC in-charge. Information will be available about when and where the kidney has been removed from the report. Villagers told that the family members of the woman do not even have money for better treatment. There has been no help from the administration either.
The operation was done on 3rd September
According to Dr. Satish Kumar, the woman was admitted to the ICU late in the evening, but due to her critical condition, she was referred to Patna, but the family members are not trying to take the patient to Patna, citing poor financial condition. The woman is being treated by donations from the local people. Let us tell you that on September 3, Sunita’s operation was done. Since then the patient’s condition is deteriorating. Due to swelling in the body, the woman is not able to even defecate and is unable to eat anything.
The relatives brought the patient back to the village
According to the villagers, Sunita could have been treated in PMCH, but after knowing that the kidney was removed, the family brought the patient to the village. According to PMCH sources, the woman’s treatment would have started on that day itself, but the family members took the patient back to the village, that is why her condition has become more serious. The woman is undergoing treatment at SKSCH. SSP Jayakant arrived to examine the woman’s kidney at the private hospital. Seeing the view of the hospital, he was also stunned to see the sight.
