Bhubaneswar, June 10: A day after the Center hiked the minimum support price (MSP) of paddy by Rs 100 per quintal, Odisha’s ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) on Thursday reiterated its demand to increase it to Rs 2,930 per quintal. The Center has increased the MSP of normal variety paddy from Rs 1,940 in 2021-22 to Rs 2,040 per quintal for normal variety for the 2022-23 crop year.
