The national leadership of BJP has made it clear that it does not want to join hands with TDP for the next elections in the state. The stand of the BJP will have a significant bearing on the anticipated alliances in the next elections. Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan on Tuesday made it clear that his party’s association with the BJP would continue.
It was Pawan Kalyan who was strongly batting in favor of the TDP-Jana Sena-BJP alliance to take on the YSRCP. Union minister and in-charge of Andhra Pradesh BJP affairs V Muraleedharan said there is no difference between TDP and YSRCP.
The people who voted for YSRCP and TDP defeated these parties by winning the elections. Addressing the BJP’s state executive committee meeting at Bhimavaram on Tuesday, Muraleedharan alleged that both the TDP and YSRCP regimes were left corrupt and in trouble.
He said the BJP would go to the people with a “charge sheet” against the “anti-people” policies of the YSRCP government. He said the BJP would soon launch an aggressive campaign against the YSRCP’s misrule in the state.
He said that the rule of regional parties had disappointed the people of the State. He said TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu, who had “failed” to deliver good governance, “tried to run away” by blaming the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi ahead of the last elections. However, people taught them a lesson by giving them a crushing defeat. YSRCP came to power after TDP promising development of the state. The YSRCP has also “failed” to bring the state back on track, Muraleedharan said.
