Budget 2023: There is nothing to reduce the poor and inflation, Mallikarjun Kharge targeted the Modi government

The Congress President said that inflation should have been the top most priority in the budget. Inflation is increasing continuously, there is nothing in the budget regarding how to control it.

Budget 2023:
Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the general budget in Parliament on Wednesday i.e. February 1. On the presentation of the general budget, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge targeted the Modi government. He said that the Modi government has presented the budget keeping in mind the elections to be held in two-four states. This is not a budget speech, but an election speech. He has started the election speech 15 days in advance.

The Congress President said that inflation should have been the top most priority in the budget. Inflation is increasing continuously, there is nothing in the budget regarding how to control it. The biggest problem today is about jobs. Unemployed youth are asking for jobs, but there is nothing for that too.

Mallikarjun Kharge said that the Modi government itself had said that it would give two crore jobs every year. The Modi government is about to complete 9 years, so according to that, where are the 18 crore jobs. Also, he has not said anything to fill the government vacancies. He said that there is nothing in this budget even for the poor.

At the same time, PM Modi said that the first budget of the Amrit period will lay a strong foundation for building a developed India. This budget will fulfill the dreams of aspirational society including poor people, middle class people, farmers. PM Modi said that ‘Vishwakarma’, who traditionally worked hard for the country with his own hands, is the creator of this country. For the first time, a scheme related to the training and assistance of ‘Vishwakarma’ has been brought in the budget.

He said that the government has taken several steps to make life easier for women in rural and urban areas. Women self-help groups will take this step further. A special savings scheme will be launched to empower women in the household. This budget is for a sustainable future that will further encourage green energy, green growth, green infrastructure and green jobs. We have focused on technology and new economy in the budget.
