After which the CBI on Sunday caught West Central Railway officer Ajay Tamrkar red-handed taking a bribe of ₹ 50 thousand.

Let us tell you that the team of CBI Bhopal had received a complaint that Ajay Tamrakar, Senior Divisional Diesel Mechanical Engineer of Bhopal Division of Central Railway Zone, is demanding a bribe of ₹ 3 lakh 50 thousand to get the peon regularized in the job. After which the CBI team made a plan to catch him red handed.
In fact, a peon of the bungalow was dismissed from the job some time ago, in the name of getting him regularized again on the job, Senior Divisional Mechanical Engineer Tamrakar had demanded a bribe of 3 lakh 50 thousand rupees, as the first installment when When given 50 thousand rupees, the CBI team caught him red handed. Eight-member staff including DSP Atul Hajela were present in the CBI team.
According to the information received, the peon posted at the bungalow had been pleading repeatedly with the railway officer Ajay Tamarkar for his reinstatement after being removed from the job, but the officer did not listen to him. After this the peon got upset and reached the Bhopal CBI office. Where he complained to the railway officer. The demand was confirmed during the investigation, after which the CBI team led by DSP Atul Haleja made a plan to catch the officer red-handed. In which he was accompanied by Inspector Satish Barwal, Abhishek Sonkar, Vijay Mehra, Himanshu Choubey and ASI Tomar.
The police were also surprised to see the elegance of this bribery officer working in the railway department. CBI officials have arrested this corrupt under sections of PCT Act. Along with this, his official and residential premises are also being searched. Tamrakar was posted in Bhopal in 2016, where he was the operator of the mechanical department and in-charge of the freight department.
