Vaccination program will run in schools

In fact, in view of the increasing cases of cervical cancer in women, the central government is about to start a vaccination program in schools for girls aged 9 to 14 years. Girls will be vaccinated with Cervavac vaccine for the prevention of cervical cancer in the school itself. Apart from this, these vaccines will also be available at the Health Center. According to a report in The Hindu, by mid-2023, the introduction of Cervavac vaccine will start in the country. The price of the vaccine has been fixed at ₹ 200.
