India-China Border Issue:
External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar (MEA S Jaishankar) on Saturday referred to the current situation regarding the India-China border dispute. He said that the situation between India and China in the western Himalayan region of Ladakh is in a critical and dangerous phase. There are some areas where military forces are stationed very close to each other.

The Union Minister said in a statement that in 2020, when there was a confrontation between the military forces of India and China in this region. Then 20 Indian soldiers were martyred for the country in the western Himalayan region and more than 40 Chinese soldiers were killed or injured. After this conflict, the round of diplomatic and military level talks between the two countries was closed. The Foreign Minister said that now again India’s position with China on the Himalayan front is “delicate, dangerous”. S Jaishankar said, “The situation still remains very critical as there are places where our forces are deployed very close to the border and very dangerous militarily.”
