How was ChatGPT developed?

From 2012 till now i.e. in the last decade, there has been rapid development in Advanced Artificial Intelligence. In the year 2013, Advanced Artificial Intelligence was used for video games. In 2014, it started being used for machine translation. In the very next year 2015, complex board games were developed by improving it further. In 2016, speech recognition analysis started taking place with the help of advanced artificial intelligence. Image generation in 2017, robotic control in 2018. In the year 2019, texts started being written with the help of artificial intelligence.

Generation-by-generation development of all these advanced artificial intelligence has been possible due to deep neural engine and advanced computation. OpenAI developed ChatGPT in 2022 using all these advanced artificial intelligence tools, which can answer you questions like a human. With the help of this tool, from home work to assignments etc. started being written. Not only this, many researchers started using it to write research papers.

ChatGPT becomes the new medium of revenue generation

OpenAI recently announced subscription plans to use this advanced tool. For its premium subscription ChatGPT Plus, users will have to spend $ 20 (about 1655 Indian rupees) every month. The company will start sending invites for its premium subscription to beta users in the coming weeks. Currently this service is available only for US users. However, OpenAI can launch this service in other countries as well.

The company will give priority to the users taking the subscription along with many advanced features. Free users find it difficult to use this tool during peak hours. Users are not able to use this tool after the room is full. This tool can become a new means of revenue generation for Microsoft and OpenAI in the coming days. In such a situation, other technology companies can also challenge OpenAI by launching such advanced tools.

What is OpenAI?

In December 2015, several companies like Elon Musk, Infosys, Amazon, Web Services together established an Independent Artificial Intelligence Research Foundation named OpenAI. This non-profit organization developed an artificial intelligence tool named ChatGPT in November last year, which has attracted the attention of users from all over the world in the coming few months. In July last year, Microsoft had decided to invest in OpenAI to work together in the field of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI). Microsoft has decided to take this partnership further on 23 January 2023.

According to reports from The New York Times, Google has started working on ‘Code Red’ project to bring advanced artificial intelligence tools like ChatGPT. For this Google is working on 20 new artificial intelligence products. At the same time, another technology company Baidu is going to add Artificial Intelligence chatbot with the search engine in March this year. According to a Bloomberg report, the Chinese search engine has decided to develop its native search engine in the format of ChatGPT. The beta version of this tool can be rolled out in March.
