Kanker 08 June. Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel is out on a tour of all 90 assemblies to find out the ground reality of government schemes and meet the people of the state. This meeting-meeting program of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has proved to be a boon for the residents of Dongarkatta village of Bhanupratappur block. The villagers got back the revenue record seized by the EOW 25 years ago, within 48 hours of the villagers’ complaint reaching Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel. In the absence of this record, they were not able to get the benefits of government schemes, as well as facing many difficulties.

Dongarkatta villagers and 110 account holders will get benefit from CM Bhupesh’s action

Villagers of Dongarkatta village of Bhanupratappur development block had complained to Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel about seizure of EOW on behalf of revenue records 25 years ago, during the meeting and meeting organized in village Bhanbera, on which CM Baghel took immediate action. Instructions were given to the officers. Now complete documents of the land of village Dongarkatta have been made available to the Tehsil office Bhanupratappur, this will benefit 110 account holders along with the villagers.

Was not getting the benefit of government schemes

Senior officials of the Chhattisgarh government said that on June 03, a meeting-meeting program was organized in village Bhanbera of Bhanupratappur block of Kanker district, where the feedback on implementation of government schemes was being taken by Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel.

Villagers of Dongarkatta village appealed to CM Baghel and told that EOW should record the entire land records of village Dongarkatta. It was confiscated years ago, which has not been returned till now. Due to this, the account distribution, demarcation, purchase and sale etc. of the farmers of the village are not being done and the benefits of government schemes are also not available. After listening to the grievances of the villagers, CM Baghel had directed Collector Chandan Kumar to take action in this regard.

25 year old problem solved

Collector Chandan Kumar directed his subordinate officers to find out the matter and take proper action on it. From which it was found that in the case of illegal felling of trees, the record-reference seat map of village Dongarkatta by EOW, current map sheet, transfer register year 1989-90, misal settlement year 1987-88, measles five years 1987-88, B -1 The records of the year 1988-89 and 1994-95 were seized in 1997 and presented in the District Court, Kanker, which was not returned. To return the record of the land of village Dongarkatta, on behalf of Tehsildar Bhanupratappur, on submission of an application in the District Court Kanker, the entire document related to the seized land was returned, which has been kept safe in the Tehsil office Bhanupratappur. Villagers of Dongarkatta village are very happy on getting the record of their village land back. He said that now we will also get the benefit of facilities like demarcation, distribution, transfer etc., as well as will also benefit from government schemes.
