Jaipur, 4 June.
The Ashok Gehlot government of Rajasthan has made important changes in the operating process of Mukhyamantri Free Nirogi Rajasthan Yojana (completely cashless) treatment. Now all patients outdoor and indoor will have to bring Janadhar card. If the patient does not have a card, then he will be given medicine along with instructions to get the card made soon. Written consent will be obtained from the patient for this. The concerned hospital authorities will send a copy of the identity card of such a patient to the district collector. From where the process of getting their Aadhar card will be done.

Free medicines and check-ups will also remain in the purview of acceptance beyond a limit. Medicines costing more than Rs 10 thousand per month and medicines costing more than one lakh will be given only on the permission of the committee of SMS Medical College. The treating doctor will only be able to prescribe medicine costing a maximum of Rs 2,000.

2 to 5 thousand rupees will be written on the recommendation of the unit head in the medical college and the chief medical officer in the district hospital. On the investigation of more than five thousand, permission will be given to the head of the department, the superintendent and the committee of doctors. Vaibhav Galaria, Principal Secretary to the Government of Medical Education Department and Dr. Prithvi, Secretary, Government of Medical Department have issued a joint guideline.

Will have to go round, there will be delay in starting the treatment!

After these changes, patients now fear it will take longer to start treatment. After prescribing more drugs and costly tests, patients will have to approach the concerned senior doctors for their approval. This may take a long time.
