Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Tuesday reviewed the Women and Child Welfare Department at his camp office at Tadepalli. CM Jagan Mohan, who has reviewed Nadu-Nedu in Anganwadi, said that the government will spend more than 1500 crores to increase the infrastructure. CM said that the aim of our government is that there should be quality in works and children should get good environment.

The Chief Minister said that there should be continuous monitoring in Anganwadi centers and there should not be any problem in distribution of food grains like milk and eggs. The CM said, “There should be comprehensive supervision and monitoring on their distribution and a comprehensive SOP should be developed. Also technology should be used. If any error is found in the distribution, action should be taken against the concerned officials by holding them responsible.” ‘

Meanwhile, CM Jagan Mohan ordered the completion of the promotion process at the earliest along with filling up of vacant posts in the Women and Child Welfare Department. The CM also gave green signal to fill up 63 posts of CDPOs. Speaking on the health status of children in Anganwadi centres, YS Jagan said that village and ward clinics provide better treatment through Aarogyasri and comprehensive solutions to prevent anemia and malnutrition.
