Chandigarh, June 2. Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has called upon the policemen retiring by October 31, 2024, to serve the society selflessly by joining the Samarpan portal. On Wednesday, the Chief Minister interacted with 408 policemen across the state through audio medium from his residence in Chandigarh. During this, the policemen also spoke openly to the Chief Minister and assured him that they would contribute to the noble cause of social service by joining the Samarpan portal after retirement.
Chief Minister Manohar Lal said that the policemen do very sensitive work. Sometimes they have to face criminals and sometimes they do the work of helping people during the accident. When we serve someone with our heart, we get satisfaction as well as joy. The Chief Minister said that the policemen who are retiring by October 31, 2024, must have a sense of what they will do after their retirement, but the Haryana government has created a dedication portal for such people. By joining this, any person can give his sacrifice in the sacrifice of social service.
The Chief Minister said that all the policemen who are communicating today through this audio medium, they must join this portal after retiring. He called upon these policemen to spread this message to others as well and connect their fellow policemen with this portal. Policemen retiring by 2024 can register on the portal from now. They can enter their retirement date in the comment box given on this portal so that the concerned department can contact them after this time period.
Chief Minister Manohar Lal said that every section of the society is getting contribution on the dedication portal. Every day people are registering on this portal with a sense of service. So far 4 thousand 600 people have registered on the portal. He said that many functions come under the government system. The government machinery works to handle them. Along with this, those people of the society who want to work with the spirit of service can also contribute a lot. With this thought in mind, the Samarpan Portal has been started.
During this interaction, the Chief Minister also interacted directly with some policemen. In this, Hariom, a policeman associated with Bhiwani, said that he would contribute to the social service by joining this portal after retirement. Similarly, policeman Rajindra said that he has been inspired by this call of the Chief Minister and after retirement he will also contribute in this work. Apart from this, other policemen will also be informed in this regard. Kurukshetra woman policeman Rajni Rani said that she is extremely happy that the Chief Minister has shown her a better way to serve after retirement.
