Panchkula, 31st May. Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal arrived to inaugurate the sports infrastructure built for Khelo India at Tau Devi Lal Stadium in Panchkula, Haryana. After this, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar inaugurated the hockey stadium, synthetic track and basketball stadium built for the preparations for Khelo India 2022.
Chief Minister Manohar Lal on Monday inaugurated various sports facilities at Tau Devi Lal Stadium, Panchkula, constructed at a cost of Rs 116 crore with the aim of providing state-of-the-art sports facilities to the players. This includes Scientific Sports Training and Rehabilitation Center constructed at a cost of about ₹ 50 crore, Multipurpose Hall No. 2 and 3 constructed with about ₹ 50 crore, Hockey Astro-Turf constructed with ₹ 10 crore and refurbishment of athletics track at a cost of about ₹ 6 crore. .

On this occasion, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar while interacting with the media said that I thank the PM and the Sports Minister for giving Haryana an opportunity to host Khelo India 2022. He said that earlier also I have inspected here and inaugurated the new infrastructure, now we are completely ready. Haryana players will do well in sports.

CM Manohar Lal said that Deaf Olympian players have been honored today whether they were participants or medal winners. He said that his sense of humor outweighed my respect for him. Gold winners and silver winners will get jobs under the policy of sports, 34 people have also been given jobs.
Speaking at the launch of Khelo India, the Chief Minister of Haryana said that Home Minister Amit Shah is coming in the opening ceremony in which there will be a light and sound show in the evening which will start at around 7.30 pm. He said that now the infrastructure of our stadium has become such that we can get games of any level, if we demand, then the team of international level will come to see and inspect.
