Monument to be built for King Shankarshah Kunwar Raghunath Shah
During the revolution of 1857, the memorial of King Shankarshah Kunwar Raghunath Shah, who gave the last drop of his blood for the sake of independence, will be built. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that a grand memorial would be built at the place where he was sacrificed in Jabalpur. Along with this, the memories associated with them will also be saved. Let us tell you that the place where Shankarshah Raghunath Shah was kept locked, that place has been preserved in Jabalpur even today.
PESA Act will be implemented soon, forest committees will be empowered
The MP government has finalized the draft of the PESA Act for the tribal tribals. It has to be published and is with the Governor for his approval. The Chief Minister said that this Act will be implemented this year. Apart from this, the MP government has decided to give more powers to forest committees working in tribal areas. A pilot project for giving the right to pluck and sell tendu leaves will be started this year.
Chhindwara University will be named after Raja Shankarshah
Recently, the MP government had decided to open a university in Chhindwara. CM Shivraj said that this university will be known as Raja Shankarshah. Apart from this, schemes run to improve the education level of tribals are being made more effective. Vice President Dhankhar also inaugurated, through remote, various schemes worth more than one billion.
Tribal class students honored
Vice President Dhankhar, Governor Mangubhai Patel, Chief Minister felicitated Varsha Uike and Bhawna Chandaniya of Bhariya tribe who got success in NEET examination after getting training under Akanksha Yojana. Apart from this, Aditya Kavareti, Megha, Shivkumari Baiga also achieved success in JEE Advanced. Babita Baghel, Sharda Pal, who achieved success in the CLAT examination, were also felicitated.
