Corona cases increase in Karnataka, CM hints at implementing some COVID control measures in the state

Bengaluru, June 06: There are reports of increasing cases of corona in other states including Maharashtra. At the same time, the number of corona positive has started increasing in Karnataka as well. On Monday, Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai indicated that the state government may take a decision on implementing some COVID control measures in a few days to control the rising cases of corona.

The CM said that there is no need for any unnecessary panic or worry as the government has already taken some necessary measures. He said that in view of the increase in COVID cases, our Principal Secretary-Health will hold a meeting with the officials of all the districts to know about the situation there and review the COVID management measures and submit a report to me. On the basis of these reports, the government will take several decisions on the basis of the report in a few days.
Let us tell you that on Sunday, 301 fresh Kovid 19 cases and one death have been reported in Karnataka. Whereas Saturday Corona cases were above 222 cases.
