Mumbai, June 08. The speed of Corona in Maharashtra is once again intimidating. According to the data released by the Health Department on Wednesday, in the last 24 hours, 2701 new corona patients have been found inside Maharashtra. This figure is the highest in the last 4 months. Earlier on February 17, 2,797 new cases were reported in Maharashtra. In the city of Mumbai alone, 1765 new corona patients have been found in the last 24 hours, which is the highest since January 25. In Mumbai, an increase of 42 percent has been seen in new cases of corona within a day.
Active case very close to 10 thousand
According to the data of the Health Department, no patient has died in Maharashtra due to corona, while the number of active cases is slightly less than 10 thousand. After the latest figures of Corona, the total number of infected patients in the state has increased to 78,98,815. At the same time, the number of patients who lost their lives due to infection increased to 11,47,866. Active cases are 9,806.
How many cases were there in Maharashtra on Tuesday?
Earlier on Tuesday, 1881 new corona patients were found in Maharashtra, which was more than on Monday. On Monday, 1036 cases were reported. Officials said that 1,765 fresh cases of infection were reported in Mumbai city on Wednesday, up from 1,242 a day earlier.
Corona cases increased by 41 percent in the country
