Horses will be procured very soon in the horse riding regiment of NCC located at Kamdhenu University Durg, Chhattisgarh. Through these horses, NCC cadets will be able to take horse riding training. The headquarters of the Indian Army has been contacted for their purchase. For this, special stables are being prepared in the campus of the university, so that the trained horses of the army can be kept here.

In fact, this mounted regimental center of NCC located in Kamdhenu University is the first cavalry regiment center in the country. Where NCC cadets are given horse riding training. Apart from this, horses are also sent from here to other armies. These horses are also included in the parade of Red Fort on the occasion of Independence Day. Apart from this, these trained horses are also included in the equestrian regiment of Rashtrapati Niwas.

According to the information, 14 army horses have also been selected for the purchase of horses. Only administrative procurement process is pending from NCC Headquarters. NCC cadets will benefit from the arrival of these horses. At present there are only 13 horses for 100 cadets in the campus. Due to which not all cadets get the opportunity to learn horse riding. Due to which the cadets are learning horse riding in turn.

14 new horses will be bought, will learn horse jumping
Army Headquarters has been approached by preparing a proposal for the purchase of 14 horses in the Equestrian Regiment of Kamdhenu University Campus, Anjora. When the new 14 horses are brought, all the cadets will get a chance to learn horse riding, horse jumping, dressers and tents etc. All these horses are army horses. According to the NCC officer, the cost of the horse would have been around 1 to 4 lakhs. These horses are fully trained.

Giving information, NCC officer Rajkumar Gadpayle said that in view of the shortage of horses for horse riding, a proposal was sent to the NCC cadets for the purchase of 14 new army horses. Its consent has also been received from the Army Headquarters. Horses have also been selected from there. But at present, the stables for keeping horses have not been built in the NCC Mounted Regiment Center located in Kamdhenu University Campus. Being trained army horses, they have to be taken care of more. Stables are being prepared especially under the supervision of the doctors of the Animal Husbandry Department of the university where there is no risk of any kind of disease or infection.
