Stray and domesticated cattle will not be seen on the roads from the new year in Smart City Sagar. If all goes well, then by the end of December, the dairies here will be shifted to the land of the dairy project located at Ratona. Most importantly, the land here will be made available to the dairy operators at the sub-city rate i.e. Rs 20 per square feet. This decision was taken in the meeting of the Mayor-in-Council held in the Municipal Corporation on Friday. Many important topics related to city development and civic amenities were placed before the MIC, on which approval and consent were given with the consent of all.

In the meeting of the Mayor-in-Council held under the chairmanship of Sagar Mayor Sangeeta Dr. Sushil Tiwari, many decisions were taken for city development and expansion of public facilities. In the meeting, along with Municipal Commissioner Chandshekhar Shukla, MIC members Anoop Urmil, Rekha Naresh Yadav, Shailesh Kesharwani, Megha Dubey, Rupesh Yadav, Asharani Nandan Jain, Sangeeta Shailesh Jain, Kanchan Jadia, Dharmendra Khatik and officials of the concerned departments were present in the meeting. In this, regarding the displacement of dairies from the city, it was decided to complete the shifting of dairies located in the city to Ratona outside the city by December 2022. Therefore, the process of its displacement should be expedited and if any animal husbandry has been left in the listed cattle rearers, then it should be added in two to three days. Land should be given on first come, first serve basis at Rs 20 per square feet.

The Mayor’s Council approved the DPR prepared under the BLC component under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. City Stadium is being constructed by Smart City Limited Sagar at Nigam Stadium. Several other decisions were taken in the meeting as per the suggestions of MIC members. On the suggestion of MIC member Shailesh Kesharwani, after conducting tests to provide WiFi facility in the corporation office, take action as per the rules, as per the suggestion of Rekha Naresh Yadav, the iron mesh installed on the roads gets damaged after few years, so precast in their place. It was decided to invite annual tenders for setting up chambers and rates for getting small works done. MIC member Kanchan Jadia proposed that Krishna Lok should be made on the lines of Mahakal Lok Ujjain in Bada Bazar, in which it was decided that its estimate would be prepared by engineers and it would be presented to Urban Administration Minister Bhupendra Singh for approval of the amount.
