The bodies of seven members of the same family have been recovered from the banks of the river in Pune, Maharashtra. Three children are also included in the dead. Police say that there are no injury marks on any of the bodies. Prima facie it seems that it could be a case of suicide, but we are probing the matter from every angle. The dead included the couple, their daughter, son-in-law and three grandchildren. Police have recovered these dead bodies on the banks of Bhima river in Daund. Four bodies have been found between 18-21 January while 3 bodies have been found on Tuesday. In this case, the police have registered a case of accidental death. The police have also taken five people into custody and a case under section 302 has been registered against them.

The police inspector said that all the bodies were found 200-300 meters away from each other.
