New Delhi:
The faceless facility was started in the Transport Department of Delhi last year. Before this facility was started, about two thousand people had to come here every day to get their work done. However, now the number of people reaching the transport department every day is more than 100. Around 16 lakh Delhiites have availed faceless services in the last 9-10 months.

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday visited the RTO office at Sarai Kale Khan and took stock of the automated test track. During this, he said that Delhi is showing the way to the whole country in terms of faceless services and automated driving test track.
The Delhi government had started the faceless service on a pilot basis in the month of February last year. Faceless service means that no one needs to come to the office. Everyone sitting at their home can get all the work done online. After that, it was implemented all over Delhi in the month of August.
The Delhi government says that with the introduction of this facility, we had symbolically locked an office. This meant that people no longer needed to come inside the offices. People do not need to take leave from their office. They don’t need to stand in long lines, no need to go round the brokers.
The Chief Minister said that after about 7-8 months, I came with the minister of the department Kailash Gehlot to see what was the situation. There are many over the counter here. Earlier, about two thousand people used to come here every day to get their work done, there were long lines of people. People had to take leave and they used to suffer a lot. But now all the counters are lying empty here, no one needs to come here. The employees working here said that hardly 50-100 people come here.
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that earlier even for registration of new vehicles, one had to visit the government office. We have made that easy now. Now from where you buy the car, the same dealer will give you the registration number and you do not need to come to the Delhi government office.
The CM said that Sarai Kale Khan was the first automated driving test track in Delhi and it was built in 2018. Since then 12 automated test tracks have been built. Everything is automatic here. Earlier it was said that catch a pimp, without giving a driving test, a license is made. Now everything is automatic. How many cameras are there? Now everything happens automatically through computer. Now no one can get you a fake license. No broker can do that you give us that much money and I will get you the license. Now the whole system has become neat and clean. The one who knows driving and knows how to drive properly, he will get the license.

12 Automated Driving Test Tracks have been built in Delhi so far. 8 more are being built. After this, there will be a total of 20 automated driving test tracks in Delhi. Working people don’t get time. They should not have to come with leave in the afternoon. That’s why an evening shift has also been kept for them. For the convenience of those people, some test tracks are being opened from 5 to 7 pm. Along with this, door step delivery is also going on. For example, if someone is not coming to fill the form, then they can call 1076 and call an agent of Delhi Government at home.
