New Delhi, 22 September: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has raided the Popular Front of India (PFI). Several accused have been taken into custody. All the accused were produced in Delhi’s Patiala House Court. Court has sent 18 accused associated with PFI to 4-day NIA custody.
Police security arrangements have been made at Delhi’s Patiala House Court as PFI workers are being produced in the court. PFI general secretary Mohammad Ali Jinnah, who is also one of the accused, has also been produced in the court.
A joint team of NIA, ED and state police conducted raids in 11 states. Over 106 PFI members have been arrested in the raids so far.
