Weather in Delhi Today: In the heart of the country i.e. Delhi, now winter has started showing light colors, today people were seen in jackets and shawls while morning walk, fog was also seen in Delhi-NCR in the early morning but as the day progressed It got cut off. The Meteorological Department says that Delhi may now witness severe cold in the coming days as the winds coming from Himachal are blowing towards the capital, which will affect the weather here and bring down the temperature. Anyway, the lowest temperature was recorded in Delhi this season on Saturday.

Whereas yesterday i.e. on Sunday, the minimum temperature here was 11 degree Celsius and the maximum temperature was 28 degree, while today also the minimum temperature is estimated to be 12 degree and the maximum temperature is 27 degree. The Meteorological Department says that today the weather in Delhi will be dry and it will be sunny, but let us tell you that even today Delhi is not relieved from pollution. Even today, a deep sheet of smog has been seen here. According to the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting and Research (SAFAR), the Air Quality Index (AQI) of Delhi is still 320 which falls in the very poor category.

  • Pusa, Delhi – IMD West Delhi 321 AQI

  • Mundka, Delhi – Bhim Nagar 312 AQI
  • Parparganj – 325 AQI
  • Ashok Vihar, Delhi – DPCC – 301 AQI

  • AQI “good”, between 0 and 50
  • AQI “satisfactory” between 51 and 100
  • AQI “moderate”, between 101 and 200
  • AQI “poor”, between 201 and 300
  • AQI “very poor” between 301 and 400
  • AQI “severe poor” between 401 and 500

Where this is the condition of Delhi, there are chances of light rains in Himachal, Kashmir and Uttarakhand, due to which the temperature will drop, while there is a possibility of heavy rains in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, while the weather will remain dry in the plains. And in the late evening light fog can also be seen at some places.
