At the same time, Indian Border Security Force (BSF) personnel engaged in surveillance are foiling all infiltration attempts. It was told by BSF today that, last night a drone from Pakistan side was seen hovering in the border area. This drone arrived at Amarkot in Tarn Taran at 2.25 pm.

On seeing the drone, BSF personnel opened fire on that side. BOP Kalia’s battalion-103 team fired 33 rounds. After that fired 4 Ilu bombs and drove that drone away. A BSF spokesperson said that after the incident, a thorough search was carried out there, although nothing suspicious could be found so far. The search operation of the joint team of Police and Border Security Force is going on here.

Officials said that the incident happened when 103 Battalion of BOP Kalia of District Tarn Taran was patrolling the border. During that time 1 drone was seen on the border from across. Our men were attentive. The soldiers forced the Pakistani drone to return by firing bullets. He said that this year Indian soldiers have shot down many Pakistani drones so far. However, incidents of drones are also happening every day.
