After the appointment of Trainee Commissioner IAS officer Laxman Tiwari in Durg Corporation, action has been taken to remove the encroachment. They are taking action by staying on the spot themselves. Meanwhile, MLAs and leaders who showed political clout also failed to stop them.

Traders affected by this action of Trainee IAS Laxman Tiwari requested Durg MLA Arun Vora to stop the action, when Arun Vora himself reached there. But Arun Vora, who came to stop the bulldozer wheel, could not do anything. After arguing with the commissioner for an hour, Arun Vora left the place. Vora asked the commissioner to stop the action. He said that action is being taken against encroachment to beautify the city. As a public representative, please cooperate.
