ED allows Sachin Waje to become government witness against Anil Deshmukh in corruption case

New Delhi, June 22 : The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has allowed sacked Assistant Police Inspector and accused Sachin Waje to be a government witness. Waje, who is sacked in a money laundering case, has been granted permission to make a case against former Home Minister Anil Deshmukh and others.
According to media reports, Waje had appealed to become a government witness, hearing which the ED has allowed him to become a government witness. It is known that the CBI has made him a government witness in another corruption related case against Deshmukh and others.
It is noteworthy that in February, Waje had written a letter to ED officials seeking his permission to become a government witness in the corruption case against Deshmukh and others. In the letter to the ED officials, he had written that I should be forgiven and made a government witness in the case. Waje has got a big relief after being allowed to become a government witness.
