Mumbai, June 22 :
Shiv Sena leader and government minister Eknath Shinde has created an earthquake in Maharashtra by revolting. Where Uddhav Thackeray has clearly said that my resignation is ready in writing and whoever wants to become a Shiv Sainik can become the Chief Minister. However, just before the offer, Eknath Shinde on Wednesday reiterated that he does not plan to break ties with his Shiv Sena party and will always remain “Balasaheb Thackeray’s Shiv Sainik”.

Eknath Shinde gave this statement in an interview given to News18. He said he was following Thackeray’s Hindutva line and will take forward his agenda. Shinde, who claims to have the support of over 40 MLAs, however, refused to divulge details of his future plans. With this, he refused to talk on the topic of forming his own party.
Let us tell you that a few hours after Shinde’s statement, Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray said on Facebook Live that
If the MLAs say so, I am ready to step down as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra. He said that if even a single person or MLA is against me, then I will leave this post. It is very shameful for me if even a single MLA is against me. I am surprised because if Congress and NCP said that I should not become CM then it is different, but today Kamal Nath also said that I should become CM. But when my own people (MLAs) don’t want me, what can I say?
After Shinde’s rebellious attitude, Uddhav Thackeray said – my resignation is ready, any Shiv Sainik can become CM
