New Delhi. The first match of the 3-match Test series being played between England and New Zealand was played at Lord’s, where the English team won by 5 wickets to take a 1-0 lead in the series. The team, led by Ben Stokes, started with a win and got back on the winning path once again. New Zealand team won the toss and elected to bat in this match, although they failed to get a good start in front of the English bowlers and were reduced to 132 runs in the first innings.
