Hisar. Ram Niwas Surjakheda, JJP MLA from Narwana, Haryana, has been removed from the post of chairman of Khadi Village Industries Board for adopting a rebellious attitude. He was appointed to this post only in October 2021. He could not even complete the term of one year. In his place, JJP’s national organization secretary Rajendra Tilani has been appointed as the new chairman of the board. He hails from Uklana in Hisar district.

BJP’s love has awakened after the body election of JP MLA. He was also accused of working against the JJP candidate in the elections. In the month of June, he had got Narwana’s newly appointed chairman Mukesh Mirdha’s husband Vishal Mirdha and many councilors included in the BJP at the Chief Minister’s residence. Chief Minister Manohar Lal himself had given membership of BJP by wearing a patka.
Surjakheda himself had read the names of Vishal and the councilors during his joining. With this, he came under the target of the JJP high command. The party had recommended the government to remove him from the post of chairman and put Tilani as chairman. On Thursday, he was relieved and made a new appointment. His tenure and terms and conditions of appointment will be issued later.
Rajendra Litani has thanked Chief Minister Manohar Lal and Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala for getting the new responsibility. Litani assured the government that he would faithfully fulfill the responsibility. Work will be done with utmost seriousness for the development of Khadi and the welfare of the artisans. All the schemes related to the board will benefit the beneficiaries.
