Farmer leaders said that we want to work under the leadership of BRS President and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao as he has made the welfare of farmers his priority.
Representatives of farmers unions from Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala met BRS MLC Kavitha on Tuesday and discussed the welfare and development schemes being implemented in Telangana, especially farmer-centric schemes like Rythu Bandhu and Rythu Bima. Farmers unions want these schemes to be implemented in the entire country, so that the entire farmer fraternity will be benefitted.
On this occasion, the farmer leaders said that they want to work under the leadership of BRS President and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao as he has made the welfare of the farmers his priority. During this, the farmer leaders discussed about the problems faced by farmers, toddy tappers and other communities in their respective states.
Moreover, the farmer leaders want the Telangana model of development to be replicated across the country. He informed that farmers of many states are waiting for the implementation of Telangana’s farmer-friendly schemes to be implemented in their states. He said that complete change in the country is possible only with a farmer-friendly government.
