Gas leak in Visakhapatnam’s Porus Laboratories, 140 workers sick, all hospitalized
Hyderabad, June 03: Gas leaked on Friday at Porus Laboratories Private Limited Company in Achutapuram, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. 140 workers fell ill due to the gas leak. SP Gautam Sali said that the condition of all the workers remains critical. No casualties have been reported. We are probing the matter.
At the same time, District Fire Officer Laxman Swamy said that 140 people have been affected by the gas leak. All 140 people have been admitted to the hospital. The reason for the leak is yet to be ascertained.
