Go First Flight: The big mistake of GoFirst Airlines has come to the fore. GoFirst’s flight took off leaving over 50 passengers on board. The incident is of GoFirst flight G8116 going from Bangalore to Delhi. The flight was parked at the Bengaluru airport on January 9, with passengers waiting for the flight, before the flight departed leaving more than 50 passengers aboard. DGCA has sought a report from Gofirst for this.

It has been decided to give free tickets to all the passengers. At the same time, 53 out of 55 passengers were transferred to another airline for Delhi. 2 passengers had sought refund for the same which was paid by the airline. DGCA has issued a show cause notice to the officials of GoFirst Airline. Why not take enforcement action against them for breach of their regulatory obligations. They have been given two weeks time to file their reply to the DGCA.

GoFirst has apologized after the DGCA report. In lieu of this inconvenience, the airline company has decided to give all affected passengers a free ticket for travel on any domestic sector over the next 12 months. Apart from this, the airline has started an investigation into the incident. Also, the matter is being investigated.
