Further, the authority in another tweet announced that there will be no change in the child’s Aadhaar number after updating the biometrics. The authority has informed the parents to visit the nearest Aadhaar center to fill the form and update the biometric data of the children.

This blue colored Aadhaar card will not be valid after the age of 5 years.

Step 1. First of all visit the official website of UIDAI at uidai.gov.in.
Step 2. Click on the Aadhaar Card Registration option.
Step 3. Fill in the mandatory information like child’s name, guardian’s phone number and other necessary biometric information related to the child and its parents.
Step 4. After this address, state and other details have to be filled.
Step 5. Check all the details and submit.
Step 6. Next, click on the appointment option.
Step 7. Users will need supporting documents like identity proof, address proof, date of birth and reference number. The Aadhaar executive will carry out further processing and provide an acknowledgment number to track the application process.
Step 8. The Aadhaar card will be posted at the registered address of the users within 60 days.
